Managing the Unexpected Conference
CIL hosts an annual conference on "Managing the Unexpected" at the Carey Business School campus in Baltimore. The conference is intended to build and support the growing community of scholars who study how organizations and their members manage the unexpected – whether that comes in the form of uncertainty, risk, crisis or conflict – in pursuit of high reliability and resilient performance. The conference is purposefully designed to be small and invitation-only, with the goal of generating high levels of engagement and interaction, as well as follow-on research and teaching collaborations.

The Research Seminar Series at Carey is held in the Faculty Commons, Room 1301, in Harbor East, (unless otherwise specified), starting at 11:45 a.m..
